6 Steps to Online Baccarat Betting

Step 1: Place Your Bet

Choose your betting chips and place them on popular betting options such as Banker, Player, or Tie.

Step 2: Dealing the Cards

Both the Player and Banker get two cards each. To find the hand’s value, you add up the numbers on the cards and only keep the last digit. The highest possible value is 9.

Step 3: Determine If a Third Card Is Needed

According to the Baccarat third-card rule, the Player and Banker follow different drawing rules. Whether a third card is drawn depends on the current hand value.

Step 4: Compare the Hands

The Player and Banker compare their total points. The highest hand is 9, and the lowest is 0. If both hands have the same total, it results in a Tie, and bets on “Tie” will be refunded accordingly.

Step 5: Determine the Winner & Payouts

Banker wins → Pays 0.95x
Player wins → Pays 1x
Tie → Pays 8x
Once the round ends, winnings are instantly credited to your account.

Step 6: Continue Betting or Withdraw

After receiving your winnings, you can choose to place another bet or go to the casino homepage and click “Withdraw” to convert your winnings into real cash.

Baccarat Point Calculation

Add up the values of the two or three cards you receive, and only keep the ones digit as your final hand value. If both the Player and Banker have the same total, it’s a Tie! (Suits don’t matter in Baccarat.)

For example:
A + 3 + 8 = 12, so the hand value is 2 (only the last digit counts).

When Is a Third Card Drawn in Baccarat?

  • Player: If the total of the first two cards is 0 to 5, a third card must be drawn. If the total is 6 to 9, no additional card is needed.
  • Banker: Whether the Banker draws a third card depends on the Player’s third card and the total points.

Types of Baccarat Roadmaps?

What are “Bead Plate”, “Big Road” , “Big Eye Road”, “Small Road”, and “Cockroach Road”? Each roadmap records different patterns of game results.

Some roadmaps are extensions of the Big Road and only start tracking results after a certain number of rounds have been recorded.
For example:

Tie results (Draws) are not included in these three roadmaps.

Big Eye Road, Small Road, and Cockroach Road are all derived from the Big Road.

The Bead Plate records the game results in a 6-row format, displaying the outcome of each round in order from the first to the most recent game.

P (Blue Circle) → Represents a Player win.
B (Red Circle) → Represents a Banker win.
T (Green Circle) → Represents a Tie.

The Big Road records the results of each round, tracking whether the Banker, Player, or Tie wins. When Banker and Player wins alternate, a new column starts. When there are consecutive Banker or Player wins, the result continues down the same column.

Blue Circle → Represents a Player win.
Red Circle → Represents a Banker win.
Green Slash (/) → Represents a Tie.

Big Road

The Big Eye Road starts recording from: The 2nd row of the 2nd column in the Big Road. If there’s no result at that position, it starts from the 1st row of the 3rd column in the Big Road.

If the current result in the Big Road follows the same pattern as the previous column, a ‘red circle’ is recorded. If the pattern is broken or there’s no clear result, a ‘blue circle’ is recorded.

The Small Road starts recording from: The 2nd row of the 3rd column in the Big Road. If there’s no result at that position, it starts from the 1st row of the 4th column in the Big Road.

If the previous column in the Big Road follows the same pattern as three columns before it, a ‘red dot’ is recorded. If the pattern is broken or not aligned, a ‘blue dot’ is recorded.

The Cockroach Road starts recording from: The 2nd row of the 4th column in the Big Road. If there’s no result at that position, it starts from the 1st row of the 5th column in the Big Road.

If the current column in the Big Road follows the same pattern as the fourth column before it, a ‘red slash ‘is recorded. If the pattern is broken or not aligned, a ‘blue slash ‘is recorded.

Differences Between Big Eye Road, Small Road, and Cockroach Road

Big Eye Road, Small Road, and Cockroach Road are all extensions of the Big Road used to track patterns in Baccarat results.

Red marks (circle, dot, or slash) → When the Big Road follows a pattern.
Blue marks → When the Big Road’s pattern is broken.

The Differences

  • Big Eye Road → Starts recording after the 2nd row of the 2nd column in the Big Road. (If no result, starts from the 1st row of the 3rd column.)
  • Small Road → Starts recording after the 2nd row of the 3rd column in the Big Road. (If no result, starts from the 1st row of the 4th column.)
  • Cockroach Road → Starts recording after the 2nd row of the 4th column in the Big Road. (If no result, starts from the 1st row of the 5th column.)
