Yuzvendra Chahal was signed by Royal Challengers Bangalore in 2014. Over 8 seasons and 113 matches, he became the highest wicket-taker for RCB and earned a place in the Indian national team in 2015, taking 23 wickets to be the leading wicket-taker for the team.

In 2022, he was signed by Rajasthan Royals for ₹6.5 crore, entering the IPL final for the first time, and taking the most wickets (27) to win the Purple Cap. In 2023, he became the highest wicket-taker in IPL history.

Piyush Chawla was a prominent leg-spinner early in his career. At just 15 years old, he represented India U-19 and Uttar Pradesh U-22. During his debut first-class season, he took 35 wickets and scored 224 runs, helping Uttar Pradesh win the Ranji Trophy. He has also played for the Indian team in Tests against England and South Africa.
